Saxophonist Valises Xenopoulos is one of the most accomplished Greek jazz musicians of his generation. An honours graduate from Berklee College of Music, he has established himself firmly at the top of the ladder of British jazz, through hard work and a very considerable helping of natural ability. His solos are drenched in real passion "full blooded and hard swinging" (The Guardian) and his melodic approach and rich sound garners much admiration from experts and music enthusiasts in all musical genres. We’re also delighted to welcome back pianist Jonathan Taylor and drummer Noah Stone plus bassist Paul Jefferies.

You’ll never hear a harsh note from this awe inspiring trumpeter - he has one of the most mellow tones in the business (perhaps that’s why he’s a long time endorsee of world leading trumpet brand ’Taylor Trumpets’). Bryan Corbett has been turning Jazz and Soul lovers' heads for over 25 years since his early days working pubs and clubs and big bands in the midlands and now impressing the music cognoscente on world tours and recordings with The Brand New Heavies, The BBC Concert Orchestra, Berverey Knight, Mica Paris and many more. For our show at The Jazz Club in Cirencester, Bryan will be on stage with the fabulous pianist Pete Billington, bassist Paul Jefferies and extraordinary young drummer Alex Goodyear.

Ben Holder needs really no introduction to our regulars - he’s exuberant, passionate and literally brimming with musical performance. This project takes the musical of John, Paul, George and Ringo and sympathetically imbues it with swing and jazz improvisation to create a highly engaging 90 minutes of showmanship and musical entertainment. Ben plays violin, sings and tickles the ‘ivories’, Jez Cook plays guitar, Paul Jefferies anchors rhythm whilst drummer Nick Millward keeps tempo and dynamics in check. Awesome stuff…..
